Rare disease day campaign

Rare disease day campaign

February 28 is the day of rare diseases. Together with Radiorg and 7 Belgian hospitals, we are therefore launching the “I'm not a unicorn” campaign. In Belgium there are 500,000 people living with a rare disease. On average they have to wait 4.5 years for the right diagnosis. For 5% of these persons, a cure is available. Patients with rare diseases need our attention. Research into rare diseases is therefore vital.

For more information, visit our website and read about the national campaign through Radiorg.
