On International Rare Disease Day, we're shining a spotlight
rare aortic diseases, such as Marfan syndrome. In the Center
Medical Genetics of the Antwerp University Hospital (UZA) and the
University of Antwerp (UAntwerpen) is conducting intensive research
carried out for this condition, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Bart Loeys,
a leading geneticist, researcher and pediatrician.
