Today our colleague Dr. Janah Vandenhoeck received the 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 from the 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 for her PhD research entitled
“Methylation biomarkers for pleural mesothelioma: from epigenetic landscape analysis to diagnostic assay development”.
The Vera Bonta prize is presented every two years to outstanding young researchers for their contributions to 𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵.
